K-pop stars were honored at the 10th Philippine K-pop Awards held recently at SM Aura’s SMX Convention in Taguig City.

The awards were given during the 10th Philippine K-pop Convention organized by the Philippine Kpop Convention Inc. (PKCI).

After tallying all the fan votes, according to Jessica Juan, PKCI President, iKON’s “Love Scenario” won as Song of the Year and EXO’s “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” emerged as Album of the Year.

BTS bagged the Best Male Group award and TWICE grabbed the Best Female Group plum.

Big Bang’s Seungri was adjudged Best Male Solo Artist and BLACKPINK’s Jennie won Best Female Solo Artist.

Stray Kids and IZ*ONE were voted Rookie of the Year while the Best Collaboration of the Year went to “Soulmate” by ZICO featuring IU.

BTS Philippines won the Fanclub of the Year award and Seventeen Philippines bagged Best Booth.

The PKCI also gave Recognition Awards to Pinoy K-pop fan clubs Girls Generation Philippines, Shinhwa Philippines, and Big Bang Philippines “in grateful appreciation for 10 years of dedication and participation in the Philippine K-pop Convention.”

This year’s K-pop Idol Look-alike winners are Christine Gildo as Vernon of Seventeen, Michelle Ilano as Momo of TWICE, Hannah Layugan as Song Yuqi of (G)I-DLE, and Cliff Ford Alvarez as Jimin of BTS. (Report by Jonathan Hicap)
